Whitefoord, Inc.

(fka Whitefoord Community Program)

Whitefoord, Inc. is a community based organization whose mission is “to partner with families and the community to ensure that all are healthy and children have what they need to succeed in school.”

The organization was created in the Edgewood neighborhood in 1995 as the Whitefoord Community Program and it is located across the street from Whitefoord Elementary School.

In 2013, a rebranding campaign led to the abbreviated name change as “Whitefoord, Inc.” but the desired outcomes for children and families remained the same:

  • Children and families are healthy
  • Children are ready for school, doing well in school and safe
  • Families are involved.
